Default My new 65 Travelall 4x4

Just picked this monster up last week, runs and drives amazing. has a 241 inline 6 and an odd 3 speed on the column factory. Never seen one with a 3 speed. thinking of updating to a 4 speed on the floor but am not sure how many different bellhousings IH had.

well if its like the 69 1200d i had, changing to a 4 speed is just a matter of remove 3 speed, knock the plugs out of the 2 bottom stud holes, slide in 4 speed, shorten drive shaft as needed, cut hole in trans cover for shifter, reinstall cover floor mat and seat, enjoy.

That two-day paint job looks great! Details - Details! And more pics if you don't mind.
