On bronco graveyard web site they have dana 44 bearing kits thats consist of 2 outer bearings an races 2 inner bearings an races an two seals for $48.00. I paid that much for one side from carquest need to do the wifes 1980. Do they fit the scout dana 44's i know axles are different but thought bearins would be the same. Hell of a good price timken bearings. Thanks chuck

dont think they are the same as broncos have internal locking hubs and scouts have external, but they should be the same as 1/2 ton travelalls and pickups

AutoZone carries Timken bearings (or at least they used to a few years back).

The vast majority of the crap that the Bronco Grveyard sells is offshore CRAP!, I've installed lots of it for customers, I really feel sorry for the "do it yourselfer's" that try to install it at home with limmited knoledge!

heres how you find out if those cheap bearings fit:
pull your bearings and seal out of a hub. find and note the bearing part numbers and the part number for the seal. then go to any website like Timken and find your make model of vehicle and compare the numbers the manufacturer lists with the part numbers you found on the inner and outer bearing and the hub seal. use only Timken bearings and Id stick with National or CR brand grease seals when purchasing . |
