Let me add a hearty "Congrats!" to you Wayne. That area sure looks like a great place to excercise one's artistic talents. From what little I've seen of the Rockies in person, man it's like a whole other world.

I know you have more important things to plan for, but I was just curious, are you brave enough (or foolish enough as the case may be) to take a Scout all the way out there? You know you'd be tempted to achieve more lift and put bigger tires on and so on and so forth. Those are some heavy duty mountains out there.

Hey I envy you going to RMIHR. That should be a blast if it works out for you to go. I'm sure you'll fit in just fine. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you prepare, like if you need to uh shall we say liquidate some of your IH stuff that you can't take with you.

    Way to Go!

Kinda sad to see you leave so soon, we only just met ;) Remind me in june, maybe the guys would be willing to set up a gathering somewhere.

Maybe at a car show? the Kroger parking lot in Radford usually has a car show every week during the summer, but if public isn't what we're after there's gotta be something! Probably best if somewhere that was easy for everyone to get to???

    Awesome man!
    Tom

But of course I'm driving the Scout!

    Hey Folks,

Of course, I'm driving the Scout.:) I'm planning on having the body work and paint job done by then. With new tires, tune up, the covered wagon sleeper up on top.(my own creation):D I'm going to make a cover over the bed for added security.

Here's what I've got to liquidate:

Full top w/ all the inside trim, it has rusted through below the back corner passenger window. I think with a little work, It could be fixed. The rear lift gate has been repaired.(welded) Good glass all around. You pick it up, and it's yours. It's located just outside Vinton VA.

2 high back bucket seats with their mounting platforms. (they need reupholstering) I'll take 40.00$ US for both. OBO

There's more that will need go too. I'm planning on having a little yard sale, to get rid of what won't fit in the Scout. If it doesn't fit, It's staying behind.
I'm planning on shipping and storing, what little furniture I plan on taking. No Brainer!!

I looking at the 4th, 5th, and 6th of June for my last B'burg Gathering, down on the New River. Keep in mind, that there will be non-club members attending this one too. It might escalate into a BIG PARTY! I would really like it if everyone could attend. It's still far in the future. I'll post more as the date grows nearer. If this date won't work then, let me know so we can figure out which weekend will work for most, if not everyone.

    Peace,

    Wayne T.

Heh heh heh. New meat. :D

Good to hear your coming this way. What's the "B'burg Gathering"? I left a lot of skin on the cliffs along the New River. Even jumped off the "old" bridge a couple of times. That's before it was torn down. :(

    See ya.

    Radford Tom..

    Hey Radford Tom,

I have an old TV, and a really nice VCR for Ya. Give me a call ASAP.
    231-1313 Never go Tubing without shoes!!! ;) :p

    Rocky Mountain Tom,

I have a good friend in the Eggelston VA area. She owns 30 acres right on the River, across from the cliffs where Mary Ingles was found...you know "The long way home" Captured by indians, taken to Ohio, took a long time to get back by following the river.

It's a perfect spot for a Party/ IHC Gathering... I've held 2 there so far.

Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

    Re: Radford Tom..

You mean Mary Ingles? I did a search, and found this LINK describing, in great detail, her capture and escape. I'm no history buff, but I did find it to be a pretty interesting read. She was captured in July, 1755, and returned home in November of the same year. 4 months, not 3 years:p It's still a captivating story, though. :)

See there, guys? A little culture, right here on the ODBA section of the web site! You can't beat this, and it's free to boot!:D ;)

    Wayne

I'd stay out west if I was you. Jutta's still looking for ya:(

Once you start wheeling out there you won't want to come back.

You need to talk to Randall about CO wheeling.
