A very hearty turnout for the GCB meeting at Cadillac Bar, especially considering the pending foul weather. Amongst several familiar faces were some new faces along with some fine new metal in the Group. Take note all those with "project Scouts", the bar has just been raised. :punk::punk:
First of the new faces was Patrick Todd with his Beautiful Elk tan '76 SII and crew chief Steve Travis.
Next was Brad Gilley with his Beautiful Silver '69 800A.
Then came Mike Moore with his awesome Black '74 SII w/ 392.
Also, The Selkirks, Terry & Susan, showed up in thier Yellow SII XLC, joined later by Patrick & Harrison.

Richard Wilkins showed up in his Silver '78 SII,
Mark Aycock and Rebecca showed up in his Red '78 SII,
Other members included Fred Demmon with wife Angie and kids, Samantha & Aidan, Dirk Kolnsberg, Stephanie, Holt Harlan, Rob (Buggerbear),myself and a plethora of Dodge trucks.
(I know I have forgotten someone, so Fred can bail me out).
Oh yeah, JT showed up in an "Electric Green GTO".
All in all, a very pleasant gathering. If you weren't there, you were indeed missed;)

Sorry I couldn't be there everyone, I had to attned a wedding in Oklahoma. on the plus side, i was setting in a vineyard drinking a beer after the ceremony talking with some friends when a flat black SII pulled in to the wedding. the guy was just dropping some people off so i didn't get to talk to him, but i still think it was some sort of sign from the IH Gods!

looks like a good turn out to the meeting, hope everyone had a good time.

Also, I saw a S80/800 on the side of HWY-75 just a mile or so south of Howe TX on the west side of the road. It was setting on a lot with some other older cars..... if anyone is looking.

Sorry I couldn't make it, I had to travel for work on Friday and didn't get back in time on Saturday to attend. Looks like a good turn out with some nice trucks. Hope to make the next one.

Thanks to all for the "Welcome to the family". I had a good time and look forward to future gatherings. Hopefully next time I'll get to hang around for the "meeting" part.

    Thanks Fred.

Unrelated subject, but probably not worthy of a seperate Thread, but for those interested, who weren't already aware:
The kids came over and wanted to watch some scary movies to bring in October. In the movie, "HALLOWEEN H20-TWENTY YEARS LATER", early in the movie, Michael Myers has to ditch the '68 Buick Skylark at a roadside rest for an Green 1956 IH 4X4 Panel Truck, (except with windows). (S120???). Shows up in several scenes after too. Just thought I'd share.:D
Kinda cool since we just saw a blue & white one at Nationals.:punk:

Hi - I had a great time at the meet. I've been on the mailing list for a couple of years and it's the first one I could make. The Black Scout is mine, and it is for sale. Time for a new project. I owe Fred a list of everything new (392 motor, suspension, etc) and a price. Familiar story here, I want it to go to a good home and recoup my investments from receipts (except for my time of course - none of us would ever sell a truck if we put a number to that!). It's got less than 1,000 miles on it since I finished everything.

I'll get the info to Fred. Again, I really enjoyed it - hope to make the next one.
