Best guess is a 1928 International, can anyone confirm this?

Not from that picture. Just out o curiosity, what makes you think it's a 28? To me the windsheild frame looks too tall.

    Ryan,

It looks more like a 1924 but the radiator shell is confusing, everything else looks like a 1924 ish IH bus or box truck (longer running boards)

the wheels don't seem as late as 28, the punched louvers on the engine compartment are also spaced further apart on the 28, also the emblem is earlier (1926 and later had triple diamond front badge?)i think the one in the photo is like this

, but the earlier had international stamped and seemed beefier, do you have a higher res photo available?

Heres a great site for old IH info: http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/libraryarchives/ihc/

Another excellent resource is International Trucks by Fred Crismon, also known as the "grey IH bible". It has descriptions and history on most IH-built trucks from 1902 to 2002 including lots of photos. It's back in print at about $85 but used copies can be had for around $50. Well worth the price for anyone who's looking for information on old IHC trucks.

This was posted in the International Harvester Group on Flickr (photo sharing/hosting site) and the person who took it didn't know what it was. Someone had commented that they thought it might be a 28. I had no idea, so I thought I'd post here for the gurus to take a gander at. Thanks for the insights.
