With all of my research on line and now with my R-6 International Harvester A series parts catalog I have the below information figured out about my IH.

Pic attached my Cabinet ID plateā€¦

    Model number: A-95
    Serial Number: 2981
    Date: 3/55

Now with all of that said in my A series catalog I am only finding the A-95-D model not the A-95? I would assume that if mine was an A-95-D series it would have been stamped on the ID plate correct? My fridge came with only the standard ice trays, manual defrost tray with no slides for the meat tray, no meat tray, I have the long crisper pan with glass, I have the defrost water container, I have the butter well and hinge but no butter dish (may be missing)?

The compressor that is shown for the A-95-D is different looking than my A-95 which has the tightwad pan cake compressor?

Do you think this all changed with my model after March 1955 and they made the A95D with some differences?

Let me know your thoughts everyone!

I've got a 1955 Hotpoint Combination with original stainless steel exterior and a 1955 Hotpoint beer fridge in gloss red POR 15 paint.
I'm still looking for an IH fridge that's nearby and affordable. :)
