    I had a '65 Buick Riviera Gran Sport with a wood steering wheel.
    My wife would polish my wood for me.

    Very nice work. The wood and wheel looks great with that column. Unsure what your plans are for the rest of the dash but some Hummer guys go way overboard when it comes to wood.

    When I get a chance, ill provide more details on how it all went together.

    No, not going overboard on the wood. I have brushed aluminum pedals that are going in. I also have an aluminum dash trim panel I found on one in a wrecking yard. I was planing on aluminum knobs for the shifters, but thinking about it, perhaps something with aluminum and a touch of wood.
