So after many years and miles on the initial build it is time to change things up. She is a '67 Scout 800 with factory 266/4 speed/D20 picked it from the swamps of Fl. Drug her home to find melted points and several broken axle shafts. After getting the 266 running smoothly I swapped in D44's from a 77 SII. Suspension was completely made from 1/4" plate and spare parts. Have been adding things here and there over the past few years. Two years back I picked up a '66 4cly 800 with the engine already removed. I had a spare 266 that I had gotten in a trade deal and was planning that for the 66. Ended up building a spare LQ9/LS3 from parts I had in the shop. So the spare 266 and 4cyl were sold and the plan is to LS swap the 67, 266 gets cleaned up and goes in the 66.
Finally took the time to get started.
    Out came the 266/T18/D20
    In goes the LQ9/NV4500/D300 IMG_0558.JPG IMG_1552.JPG IMG_1570.JPG IMG_1579.JPG IMG_1571.JPG

Here is the 66 800 that will receive the 266 once it is cleaned up and has all freeze plugs and gaskets. Along with the 266 she will be getting a set of Waggy D44's and a half cab roll bar.
