New to the forum and the new owner of the SSII in this thread http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/index.php?threads/new-to-forum-ssii-33-000-original-miles.137432/
And am looking to go back to the original blade bumpers on front and rear. My goal is to take back to its original color (black) but am going to wait til next year to do the body. Will start with the bumpers and roll bar this year. My question is: if I want it to look original should I paint the bumpers just like the body with clear coat or ??? It's hard for me to tell but looking at old pics of SSII's it appears that they may have a duller finish than the rest of the truck. Most pics are poor quality or bumper is shaded so tough to tell. Thanks in advance for the input!
