Lately we have been getting quite a few calls on customers wanting to do their own spring over axle conversions but not sure what parts they will need. Feel free to contact us as about what parts will be required in order for you - the customer - will need in order to perform your own spring over axle conversions using the highest quality parts available. We can put a kit together custom tailored for you and make it a 'package' deal to save you a few dollars.

Axle modification will still be required(turning knuckles and fabricating a spring perch for the front passenger side) although we prefer to start with a housing that was factory setup for SOA and then narrow it to Scout width. You can also purchase already modified front housings from us.

    A typical kit consists of:

PartsMike New Scout Hysteer Knuckles w/ Flat Arms and 1/2" Spacers - $729
    PartsMike 1ton Tierod/Draglink Assy - $269
    Pitman Arm - $65
    5/8" Ubolts-------------------------\
CPT Spring Perchs-----------------l-----Kit Price is $105 per axle
    CPT 3/8" Thick Ubolt Plates------/
CPT Shock Tabs - $2.95 each
Long Travel front Driveshaft - $345 (Add $125 for CV Upgrade)
    CV Rear Driveline - $385
    CV Yoke - $48.95 Each
    Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks - $80 Each
CPT Reverse Shackle Kit - $290
CPT Rear Shackle Set - $50
CPT Front Shock Tower Kit - $59.95
Energy Suspension Spring Bushings - $35 per kit
Optional CPT Rear Swaybar Kit(were working on a front kit) - $335
CPT Lifetime Bumpstops w/ Weld-on mounts - $118.50 per pair
CPT DOT Approved Extended SS Brakeline Kit - $159.95
Optional Skyjacker Softride Springs - $665 for Front & Rear(Includes spring bushings)

Its best to call us so we can custom tailor each kit as some may not want all these parts or may already have installed some part of it.

We also offer Gear/Locker packages as well as 4340 Axle kits.

Price really depends on how far you want to go with your SOA. Best to either call or email(I prefer talking as opposed to typing) so we can set you up with what you're after.

I did just get red x's myself. I reloaded the page and all was fine. Not sure why this is happening as the pics are hosted on my website.

I'm not seeing the pix either. Would like to see them. Are they on your website? We're working up to a spring over on our SII, and I know things have changed since I did my own 35 years ago

Looks like you need to be a registered user on Jeff's site for the photos to appear here.

Yes it does  bet I take care of that in short order. Really like to see those pix so I can see what he has that we're likely to need. We're putting in a 44 out of a big Wagoneer in the front, and a rear out of an Izuzu Rodeo. That'll give us discs on all four and 6 lug bolt pattern. The youngsters on the crew assure me this is the way to go ;) Maybe Jeff will have some thoughts on the whole program...

Sorry guys but I didn't realize you had to register in order to view pics. I'll talk to my webmaster about changing this as I want everyone to be able to view pics without having to register.
