Looking for ideas on engine color. Im fine with painting new color other than original aqua green/blue. Ive seen the Lego engine, but want more ideas. Im hoping to find what I need at local parts stores in rattle can. Thinking of some parts in black or other contrast color such as the injector lines and pulley wheel. I recall liking CoopVa's color choice but cant seem to find his engine build thread.

Yes! That looks so amazing. Im really sold on that color scheme. My coolant plug is just a plug. Do you know where would I find a drain valve plug with hose fitting? It looks like yours is new.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure the drain plug is the one that was on there originally. I just cleaned it up and put a new hose on it.

I will check my factory parts list and see if it's listed. Give me a day or so...

I ended up finding a 1/4 npt threaded petcock valve. The threads arent exactly the same, but close enough.
What did you use to make your EGR blocking plate? Wondering how thick the steel needs to be. I think I have to make 3 since Im using the original intake.

Pretty sure the threads are metric. You are setting your self up for leaks if you use the wrong thread...

I used 1/8" steel for the blocking plate. Should be good...
