I ordered a bunch of stuff from this site and it seems they couldn't care less about customer service. Has anyone had dealings with these guys? Is it just the way they do business or is this site a scam? It's been 4 weeks and no parts.

And they sell brake kits that will kill you if installed, Yes I found out the hard way......luck was on my side due to the install going so badly we had to replace 90% of the parts they supplied with parts that were source locally.
I reported them to the BBB and contacted the local AG in their area to finally get a full refund, my credit card company had to issue me a new card 3 so they could not keep trying to recharge me.....yes they are total crooks and I am surprised they have not been shut down by now.

Another victim of Scoutparts.com.:drown: If I were you, I'd cancel your order. You'll save some money shopping with a legitimate vendor listed on this website.

And as mentioned, just search scoutparts.com. You can come to a conclusion regarding their operation all on your own.

Just an FYI these companies are all part of the same parent corporation , I have ordered from travelallparts.com and been completely satisfied .
and other times not so much -unfortunately ... They did make good on everything ordered including returned items , It was a completely
unacceptable amount of time though , I wish they would get their heads out of their collective asses because I really like the websites ,
    http://pacsupplyco.com/

ps I also really like Barnes IH new website ( Great Job Brendan !!!)

Compare their prices with all the other long-term, reputable IH/Light Line vendors and you will likely be shocked at scoutparts.com's excessive prices. There are too many other, better parts sources to even consider business with them.

There have been other threads like this, some even call them "He we do not name".

Dang, they come up first on SO MANY Google searches for various parts for our vehicles that I ordered a car cover from them. I did note that many of their new old stock parts for the diesels are sometimes 2-4x more expensive than their competitors and wondered why. I'm glad I found this thread before I ordered from them again.

Credit the clever use of a generic company name for that.

    Quote from their site:
"We are constantly locating new products. We are also always looking for ways to adjust the pricing on our current inventory so that we can offer the best deals possible to our customers."

They didn't lie in that statement. A few months ago I was looking for a specific seal for my Scout and saw the part "emergency brake boot, $189+". I figured it had to be a misprint, I looked back several times and it never changed. I looked again today because of this thread and they did adjust their pricing on that used boot. $279.86 for one used, yeah that's right, one beat up old used boot for $280. I could put a lot of bling on my girl for that. Greg

I haven't ordered parts from them but I did go check out their facility one Saturday while killing time in Portland. The guy working the counter was nice & I bought a cap (needed one for fishing the next day anyway.) They had a few old light trucks & Scouts plus a half a dozen IH tractors sitting around. Looked like an old IH dealership. The other thing they had there was a nice printed color catalog with tons of parts pictures that is handy for reference.

They'd  probably let you have an old Farmall with a stuck engine, no starter, a plastic replacement seat and flat tires for only three million dollars, seeing as you're a loyal IH :cowboy: aficionado.
