Don't have any screen grabs, but I've seen two Scout IIs in the first few episodes of the new season of True Detective.

Just saw a preview for a Netflix action show called Polar. This Scout II is shown very briefly.

Well its not a legit SSII by the grille and the mirror mounting. Fender guards aren't legit either.

I saw that movie Polar. It was horrible! The Scout was not featured very long. I had to drill through almost the entire crap storm to actually see the scout. I realized if I wanted to see a scout I could have gone out to the garage.

Yeah, I made it through about the first 5 minutes before just fast forwarding through it to find the Scout...and then it was only showed it for about 2 minutes.

Sorry, but I'm LMAO....we really are a sick bunch. What we put ourselves through just to see a beat up IH. With that said, it's good to know we're not alone and appreciate the warning on that one.

Polar was worse than the movie I went to see in the early 1990's entitled 'Mad Love'. I went with my wife to see 'Mad Love' with Drew Berrymore because it had a scout in it. It was real bad and I actually paid theater prices to see it. I guess I never learn.

Speaking of fast-forwarding to the good parts.....on submarines, before the days of digital (DVD), we got 1st run movies of all types on reel to reel to take to sea. Some were popular and some were VERY obscure titles. At times, we'd watch one no one had heard of and most were very bad. In truth after 50 -60 days underwater, all you desired was to see some "skin" of any type. Most Sailors were on a 3-shift schedule of 6 hours on and 12 hours off. It was fun to tell your buddy in another section that there was "Tit" in the 3rd reel of some pitiful movie you had just endured. Inevitably you'd see him 12 hours later and he'd call you out for BS'ing him. The other rule was if you started watching a movie, it MUST be watched in its entirety. Good times!

This was pretty similar to when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan too. We had the little shops that would get pirated copies of almost any movie on DVD. What I'd do was get the shops to change the movie from a good one to a horrible B movie after about the first 30 or 45 minutes of the good movie, just enough time to get your buddy invested in the movie. After awhile, it just ended up being a competition to see who could find the worst movie possible.

Surprised no one posted this - 20/20 on Friday night, about serial killer Cary Stayner (murders near Yosemite, 1999) - drove a white Scout with stripes and shown in some "recreations". Makes me wonder who is driving the murder Scout around, unknowingly.

At least the Scout had plenty of screen time and Drew was easy on the eyes back then.

    -The World’s Best on CBS | Season 1 | Episode 1

----Enkh Erdene. the Mongolian cowboy; singing in perfect English (even though he doesn't speak or understand it), with a pretty clean pickup upstage.

Had some bad reviews here earlier. Guess after the first few minutes it was best to fast forward to the Scout. No intention of watching it but the wife had something on TV the other night and as I walked through the room there was some boobage that caught my eye. Some stupid stuff in it but it seems it's one of those second rate productions that just need some patience before giving up on it. Wife almost did but gave it a chance. Seemed the bad guys kept switching from a Durango to the Chevy's too quickly sometimes but maybe I missed something. Didn't see the begining but probably watched about 3/4's of it myself. Not that bad really. The beat up Scout had a fair amount of time in the decent hit scene compared to most.
