Lol I've noticed since I've been looking at them you can get half tons a dime a dozen nowadays, i see people parting them out some but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for close enough I need a good bed and sport bumpers

my truck lived its early life in the north St Louis and then came down here and was used as mostly a hunting/bad weather truck until the guy i got it from got it he got it from his wife's uncle when he hit a horse in the highway and totaled his truck he cleaned it up as best he could and drove it daily to work until he could get a better truck I've known him and his wife for quite a while and felt like I got a good deal on it but its turning out to be more than I was wanting at the time

your welcome I thought it was close by, yeah I noticed you can get some deals on some of them I found a couple that were easy fixes.
There was one 4x4 short bed 1/2 ton that needed a rear axle for 1000 that would be easy to swap out.

Well I got my other project done today and it didn't even rain like they said it would on the weather (shocker) Anyway if the weather is good so I can move the engine outside I'm going to try and fire it up tomorrow.

I got the ol' engine fired off finally this morning but I don't have coolant flow from the radiator I think it is too low or I have an air lock so i'm going to fill through the thermostat housing if that don't help i will either move the radiator up high or just connect a garden hose to the intake and pump it out on the ground. Also my fuel pump isn't pumping I had to fill the float bowls through the vents to run it. So either it is connected backwards and I did put the push rod in the motor that was my first guess and i remembered putting it in or the other thing is its a bad pump not sure but i will figure it out. Ready to get that thing in the Scout soon. more to come
