Sorry I haven’t responded but you were right! Someone flipped the wires further up in the harness. I got the wires turned around and now only the single Is burning. Today I got the brake lights and hazards glowing as well. Looks like a year into this build and I can get her inspected this week!!

Sounds like your making some progress Kent, good looking Scout you got in your picture mine was close to that color when I started now it's mostly primer. I have to got through my bulbs and check them out they worked when I was driving it but might be a different story now.

I got a little more done today we now have a new location for the control panel and a set of new gauges for oil pressure, temp and volts. I didn't hook up the volts for the run stand. Went through a bunch of parts and did misc.. stuff

Thanks! It’s been a lot of fun and given me a good project during this COVID. I’m going to button the dash and gauges back in and should be good to go. Drove it to get inspected today without the dash but it passed! I’m need to build a roll bar/cage and switch out carb with efi. Looks like I’m going with the Holley Sniper.. image.jpg

We took a little day trip today to rest a little and have some fun (not that the Scout isn't fun it is) but to get out of the house and do something different so we went to Mt. Magazine state park site seeing and to Blue mountain lake and waveland campground. It was a fun trip lots of deer feeding today seen 7 and lots of nice scenery. Mount magazine is 2,753 ft making it the tallest in the state but just a bump compared to other mountains elsewhere.

Of course there is allot more I didn't take pictures of like the lodge, the cabins, the visitor center and trails everywhere. A nice place to visit it is about an hour from my house. The temperature up there was 74 and when I came back down to normal elevation over my direction it was 90 degrees. Makes me want to live on a mountain! Lots of fun
