Thanks Mater and Big Rigg I'll check some of this out I have used the TCP paint and I was impressed. I also used their Epoxy primer and it was good too. '

Got my parts today and got some more done just came in about 30 minutes ago and the engine is just about 30 minutes away from being fully joined and ready to go in I have to hook up the torque converter and i could do that in the Scout but in case of issues I wanted to do it out of the Scout.

Well i worked on the Scout for about 3 hours this morning and had to go into town for parts, came home mowed for 3 hours and worked on the Scout for a little while longer The engine is now ready to set in the Scout. I am going to move it into position in the morning, I should get to work for a little bit. I have a couple other things to do tomorrow but should get to work on it off and on enough to hopefully set it in place.

Well i got it moved in front of the Scout yesterday before the rain and put on some wood under the mounts, got the trailer moved and swapped out a couple of bolts for some new ones. Then the rain showed up. Worked a little while this morning and just before I thought I would make some progress it started to rain so back on hold more coming on the radar.

I actually repainted all the firewall and surround but I am going to take off all the accessories and inner fenders and repaint/replace everything I already replaced about 90% of the conduit on the wiring but have a little more to do.

I'm getting more excited now that it's in the engine compartment. I got the trans, transfer and crossmember all bolted down today and the old mount plates cut off and the new mounts bolted on i have lots of grinding to do and start welding them in. It started clouding up and thundering so I shut down for the day. Plus I had another job I need to work on some also. I'm getting there slowly.

We mowed today but then I worked most of the rest of the day on the Scout ran into some issues with the mounts i posted some pics on the build page. I have to pick up a angle finder and some other stuff so I can keep going and bring the motor down to the right angle.

Sure did! I'll snap some pictures. Fenders, hood, doors, windshield frame, tailgate and grill are in primer.
