Body and frame are at the sandblaster/ powder coater. here are some pics of the frame being prepped before the blaster, also showing the hangers being moved in for the Scout II axles.

and a few more of the frame, we cut off all the added on hitch setup in the rear to clean up the frame and put new Canyon Offroad shackle hangers in the rear, and the rock proof spring hangers.

Good work Jayson. Please give me a call tomorrow if/when you get time. Want to change the frame powder coating color if it's not too late. Thanks. JB-

    Hi Jayson,

Looks like it will be an awesome Scout when you are done. How come you chose to go with the Scout II steering box on the outside of the frame rather than a Ford on the inside of the frame like a lot of guys do? Also, I saw you are selling body bushings for Scout 80/800's. What does your kit include?

The box on the outside of the frame is because of the V8, all Scout 800's with V8's have the original box mounted on the outside due to the size of the IH V8. The 4 cyl. is different because the 4 sits back around 12" compared to the V8, their are many options for the 4 cyl as far as boxes go. I don't have a body bushing set on my site but I do offer one Please contact me for details @ 480-265-5393, thanks Matt

We did a cut and turn on the front axle and set the knuckles to 5*, when we got the Scout the front driveline was out due to the extreme angle on the front pinion. The axles and springs, u bolts, plates were all painted with POR15 black for a strong durable finish, now we will be putting all new bearings and seals in them and a trac-loc rear, here is a few pics.

There are some updates, but we are waiting for the transmission and t-case and a few other parts from the owner to continue on the frame. The body is going to take time due to the large amount of rust repairs:censored: . We have been real busy around here with many other projects. I will post some progress pics today if I have some spare time.:wrenching:
