Do you know how the 2nd edition differs from the first? A totally new book or same with added content, pictures, specs etc? Thank You for posting the link. Getting one of these has been on my “to do” list. Mark

The best answer to that will come from Jim Allen/BinderBookie - he is the authority

My (impression) is that there will be expanded coverage and expanded depth of earlier items that weren't covered so deeply.

Was space limited by the publisher so I could only correct and add new material until the max page count was achieved. Did get an applique chart in showing all the production stripes available but not a totally new book.

    Ha !

Yea, I get pretty verbose here at times. Any day I can wind down and go to bed without sticking my foot in my mouth and torque'ing someone off is a good one. :)

And just to test things out, once I get my 2nd edition (hopefully with your's and John's signatures) S/N #101 <- hint, hint, you gotta know that there is money burning a hole in my pocket for the Light Line truck/pick up book. :)

    I'm holding my breath !

Its a fine line to walk. I don't necessarily want to be a thorn in anyone's side.

OTOH, it might be the squeaky wheel that gets the LL truck/pick-up encyclopedia sooner than later.

I've been Jones'ing for an early 1960 Travelette for a while (God help me with the lottery if one pops up). I have the Crismon book. Its a fine book and covers a lot of years. I don't regret the purchase, but its light on details for the items I am interested in.

I got to view the 1st edition at a friend's on the way home from a long 10 day back country off road adventure in the 800. The book is impressive. Payday inna day so an order is on the way! If you want a really complete "set", get Pletcher's interview of Ted Ornas on DVD. Jim, would you know if the DVD is still available?

Its not my intent here to kill off a sale, especially one that our LL dealers might need in our corona-ridden times, but I've seen that video with Ted, and I don't have/own the DVD, I saw it online. Probably youtube, but maybe somewhere else.

Does this ring a bell with anyone else?

I have the DVD and it's worth a space in anyone's library of automotive or Scout literature. Youtubes come a go, but an owner will always have the DVD.

Yeah - it’s been proven that YouTube can and does remove content for whatever reason they decide is valid that day.
