I’ve got a 1980 with the SD33dt. I’m running her with the KN 9080. Is there a paper filter I can use as an alternative while I wait for the KN to dry? Also...I know they say “lifetime” but I don’t think I can ever get the diesel soot out of the filter so I think it is getting more restrictive with every cleaning. What’s everyone else running?

I used the same filter on mine and with the extra holes in the housing it got pretty nasty. I looked at it as extra filtering. I never found a paper filter that really fit but I didn't look that hard either. If you need another filter that you always have one available hit me up. I still have mine.
