Anyone have a working 345 or 392 they would like to sell? I need one ASAP. I live in the Wimberley area around Austin. I have a post in Hill Country also. I can drive to pick up if you have one or knows someone that has one.

I decided to finally do some cosmetic changes to my 72 so I picked up an SSII grill insert. Does anyone have a 77-79 grill I could buy? I really don’t want to destroy the 72 grill and I don’t think painting will work well enough behind the insert. I would prefer a 77-79 grill that is in bad shape so I don’t mind ruining it if I need to.

    Thanks in advance,

    -Richard

If you mean the metal frame part that the SSII insert screws to I’ve got one for you. $25

Yes, I believe so. Thank you!

I apologize in advance for the ignorance- That should allow me to remove the existing 72 upper grill and install the new grill insert without a replacement grill behind it?

The plsatic SSII grille needs an open 76+ steel grille behind it to attach it.

That’s what I thought too but I was hopeful that Mike knew of a different way or had just the right part for it. I’ll wait to see what he says, but thank you for clarifying!

Picked up a scout 800 today. Body is pretty much shot. Has dana 30 front and 44 rear if anyone needs parts let me know.

Edit.. Looking closer at it its not a 30. Its a 27 dront axle. I'm going to take what I need and the rest is free to whoever wants it

It is a 4cyl scout. What do you need from it? All I want is the bed rail caps for mine.
