Wanted - Dana 20 shifter + shifter ball from a Scout 800
Wanted - Dana 20 shifter + shifter ball from a Scout 800
Or a Scout 80, assuming that they are the same handle.
I don't need a transfer case, dead or alive. Just want another shifter handle for a dual shaft setup.
Two Traveler/Terra length rear drive shafts. Given the diameter, the larger size, I'm assuming they are for an automatic transmission.
Please send me a PM if interested.
Have some scout 80 stuff located in Lubbock Tx looking to sell, possibly trade, always open to offers, worst I can say is no. Also make reasonable offers on items as I do not have them priced at the moment. Willing to travel some if the deal is right.
*i am very interested in trading for a 1/2 cab from an early scout 80
Both doors, roll up mechanism, 1/4 glass frames for vent window, no glass
Hinge and striker plate assembly
Hood-good shape, with hinges
Front fenders both sides, in good shape
Dash parts (dashboard frame) in good shape defroster vents
Bucket seat-frames and mounting hardware
Radiator support, etc.
heater parts, blower motor housing (fits passenger side under hood)
And I'm sure there's much more I'm forgetting that I have, please email at firstname.lastname@example.org or private message through forum, if phone contact is needed 8067872013
Anyone have a spare Scout II V-8 radiator laying around? Both of mine are damaged.
Never mind, I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Row-Inter...iter_Display:5.7L&hash=item23260e478c&vxp=mtr
Not shabby I don't think...
Wanted - Dana 20 shifter (and shifter ball a plus) from a Scout 800, and maybe a Scout 80.
Not for certain on the Scout 80 thing. Please reference attached image. This is a repost of my post #25 (above), now with an attached image.
I need a matching shifter for my new dual stick transfer case set up.
This is an update post to a request I had made earlier.
and hopefully, this is a better picture.
I need a transfer case shifter, identical to this one. The shifter pictured is from the Dana 20 that IH shipped in my 1970 Scout.
Please let me know if you have one of these you are willing to part with.
Thanks to all that helped and to those that participated. The turn out was great. Here are some pictures I took while at the Bash. As you can see the weather was awesome.
Mike, just wondering if you have sold some of those items listed from April? Particularly the Scout 2 hood and 4bbl intake? Thank you in advance.
Goodwin, if you still have any of your SSII parts I may want a few, did you sell your receiver hitch? I will call you this next week. The project is about to resume.
UPDATE: THE ENGINE IS GONE. HEADED OFF TO OHIO TO LIVE ITS LIFE IN A COMANCHE. THX FOR LOOKING.
Up for sale or possible trade - 1970 AMC 232 inline 6 as installed by International
Up for sale or possible trade is the OEM (as installed by International) AMC inline 6 232 engine from my 1970 Scout 800a. The previous/original Scout owner spent $3500.00 having this engine rebuilt prior to sale. I have the receipts from the rebuild if you are interested. Engine has less than 1000 miles on it since rebuilt.
Engine wise, I ended up going another direction, and I am primarily looking to find a good home for my inline 6.
New owner will pick up engine in Burleson, TX at my builder's shop.
PM or email me offline.
WTB/T/FF 5 5*5.5" pattern stamped steel 15" wheels
I'm headed off in yet another direction with wheels, and I am looking for (5) stamped steel wheels. Specifically,
* need 5*5.5" pattern 15" wheels. I have 1977 Scout 2 dana 44 axles these will fit on.
* must be straight.
* Need to be able to install IH hubcaps on these. I know that, minimally, IH, Ford and Dodge made these wheels. I just need to be able to install IH hub caps on them.
* 1970's or newer vintage? I have disc brakes on all 4 corners. Need to be able to fit over disc brakes.
* good condition - I'm going to sand/media blast and repaint, minimally, just need to be in good enough condition to move forward with.
* I need 5 - I can not believe how long I have been without a spare. I need 5 tires.
Thanks for reading, let me know what you got. I would prefer not to have to ship or drive half way across Texas for these, but I will if I have to.
Up for sale or trade now, a complete set of black seat belts for a scout II. One of the plastic clasp covers is slightly cracked and falling off. Other than that good shape.

If you have an axle shoot me the first five digits of the part number.
I built a cage so I am posting my seat bases for bucket seats for a scout II. Right now they have mounts added tothe top for after market racing seats like a PRP. $120 for the pair.
'76 scout II grill in good shape. I switched to a '73. $120 as it sits in the pic
PM me if interested...
No one in the Austin area was interested. Rear seat in good shape. Upper corners are ripped, but everything else works... FREE to any home. If no one wants it, its getting recycled...
Does anyone know anything about the shop that has the CVI scout for sale in waxahachie?
They have some motors for sale as rebuilt as well - said they were built in stephenville and dallas. I am in the market for a motor (304 preferred, but open to others) and they have a rebuilt that they don't have a lot of info about.
Are these guys members ? Anyone I know?
oh, please consider this a WTB post if someone has a confirmed low mile or rebuilt motor in Texas or nearby.
Johnnycobra - I'm not sure if they are members here, but it looks like that posting is from Buffalo Creek Classics in Waxahachie. They usually have some binders and parts for sale, but I haven't done any business with them so far.
for FREE - Scout 2 power brake booster + dual master cylinder
This was gifted to me when I was planning out my brakes, but ultimately went a different direction.
Just want this to have a good home. Can deliver to the August NTB meeting, or possibly meet up somewhere half way in the DFW metroplex area.
