    IMG_2579.JPG Hi, I'm back!
I'm from Arlington tn just outside Memphis.
Just picked up a clean un-restored 73' over the summer. Plan to just fix the mechanical side of thinks then maybe tackle the interior. But probably leave the exterior as it is for that "patina" look that people are into now. This is a picture of it in its current state, I've added the factory wheels and hubcaps since I bought it.

Rebuilt the exhaust from the manifolds back. Used a 2.25" universal kit from summit

Got a set of factory wheels and hub caps cleaned up with 31-10.50-15 mastercrafts . And threw on an old set of roof rails.

    Lookin good!
Tell me more about your exhaust kit. Where did you get the flange pipe that mounts to the manifold? And did you reuse the stock mounting flange, or does summit carry those as well?
Lastly, would you recommend? I have dual exhaust, and my mufflers look good, but the pipe itself has seen better days...

The 1st 2" of my exhaust with the flange was just about the only part that was salvageable. So that's where I started with the new pipe. I also built the y-pipe, since mine is single exhaust, in front of the transfercase to avoid having to squeeze the pipe by on the right side.
I recommend there kit if your handy with a welder and chop saw. There kit is plenty to do a dual exhaust truck.

Somebody had spray painted over the door panels. I took a gamble and decided to pressure wash them to see if it would come off. IMG_2585.JPG IMG_2586.JPG IMG_2588.JPG IMG_2589.JPG

Last spring I bought a 79 scout That happened to have a Sd33t 4speed and good dana 44 axles. I have since swapped the complete drivetrain into my 73 and rebuild my suspension with poly bushings and CPT shackles. Upgraded the engine with a Mercedes turbo and 2.5" intercooler. Here's some pics.

That's awesome, in the over 20yrs I've been messing with Internationals I've yet to acquire a sd33t Scout and I'd love to have one, I had a chance about 4yrs ago to get a '80 Terra sd33t for $2500 but passed for whatever reason and been kicking myself ever since
