I'm looking for all terrain tires that are 32"x11.5"x16".
I've read on TireRack.com how to convert, but am, oh, I don't know, confused...:cornfused:

Can anybody tell me the metric equivalent? I really like the looks of this size. I currently have junked 32x11.5x15 tires and 15" rusty wagon wheels. Got a great deal on some new 16" wheels that'll fit my rear discs and now need to put some meat on them.

I've seen some mudders & swampers that are advertised as 32x11.5x16, but I want a street, all terrain tire.
    Thanks!

I have 265 75 16 on my f150 and they are real close to if not a little bigger than 32s they are almost as tall as my 33s on the scout

Those are more of a 33-34" in most cases.

265/75r16 are right at 32", if not above. That's the size you want. We run those on our Grand Cherokee.

I'm sure you meant 265/75. According to TireRack these usually run just a hair under 32" tall. By 10.5" wide though.

I agree with you though. It's probably the size to use. I'd get these myself it I had some 16" rims laying around.

BTW lreeds, there is no need to do any fancy calculating here. TireRack lists all the sizes under the "specs" for each tire band and type. Just pick a tire you like, for instance BFG AT or General Grabber AT2, and look at the specs (it's a tab on the page). You first look in the Overall Diameter column, then Section Width... and then just pan over to the left to see what size it is. Obviously you'd just be looking at the 16" tires there.

For example, click the Spec tab on this page:
