This is my '79 Scout. I bought it from a guy in Michigan in Feb 2015 with only about 70,000 original miles. Apparently had spent most of its life in Arizona so it was in pretty decent shape although pretty basic. 345 V8 automatic 4x4. I bought it because when I was a kid back in the early 80s I used to own a 1980 Scout but I had to sell it when I returned to college - couldn't afford the payments going to school full-time and working part-time. Always regretted having to let it go. Since finding the '79 I've put a lot into it and I'm pretty happy with where she is now.
