Mount ID needed

    This was in the back of a Scout that I purchased a while back.
    I'm trying to figure out if it is IH related and if so, is it a compressor mount, air pump mount, or.....?

    I think I remember seeing another AC related part on it that didn't look factory built.

    Where in the back; on or by the bumper (which could be for a vice), or did you mean in back of the engine? Pictures of it mounted might have been useful....assuming it wasn't just lying in the bed.

    It wasn't mounted, it was in the rear storage area of the Scout on the floor.

    Looks like an alternator/AC pump bracket, I have one that's similar to it, but I used the OE cast iron one on my Scout.

    I was told that in the 60's the a/c was installed at the dealer(under dash with IH on it)I have seen 2 other brackets the same as this all on 68's.Iam going to use this one as Iam doing an all original resteration.
