We struck a deal on eight Scouts this week, and they are being delivered starting today! They are all Scout IIs or Terras, and most are V8s and 4 speeds. They range in condition from junk to decent drivers, and we will be posting pictures up soon.
We also got a 45' storage trailer for parts to be kept inside once we get them pulled. We'll be putting shelves in it and trying to keep stuff semi-organized so we'll know what we do and do not have.

If anyone needs anything, please give us a call in the office at 540-433-5136. You will soon be greeted by the voice of my lovely wife when you call! She has turned in her notice at her job, and will be joining us here as of December 1st! This is going to allow me to get into the shop to spend more time out there with my brother on the projects that are rolling in, and let her get back into things with the office work and signs/decals. Win-Win!

Awesome Mike! Sounds like my first deal I struck, back in the day. Any of them a V-8 automatic Terra, by chance?

Oh, and got the decal, waiting to open it - super excited!!! Thanks man.

Good to hear that you got the decals, Nate! There are 3 118" Scouts in the mix. One was a V8 auto, but the engine is gone. The other two I don't recall what they were, besides Terras. Whatcha need?

The Scouts are slower being delivered than I had hoped, but they are getting here! Two so far, and a couple more promised this afternoon.

10/21/1977 (three years to the day before the LAST Scout was built, BTW) build date Traveler, no engine, automatic transmission.

9/9/1977 Build date SSII, 304 4 speed. This one is a future Scoutco restoration.:)

You can also see the storage trailer in the background there. We have stuck a few things in there over the past week, but want to get it shelved before we bury it with parts!

I am liking the SSII, and looking forward to that build. Little known fact, I have one too. :D

Congratulations on all of the progress and the growth!

This is a 3/74 build date Scout II that just got here. 304 (I think) 4 speed truck. The doors shut nice on this one, and it really ain't half bad...as far as Virginia Scouts go. The top and liftgate are gorgeous! And the bug catcher? THAT is vintage goodness, and may find it's way onto the SnoStar SII.;)

I believe after this dealio, I am done for a little while! These were literally about 5 minutes away from our lot, or I may have passed on them. The money wasn't great on them, but they were too close by to not purchase.

Too free to pass up. Local VFD was tossing them, and brought them by here to give me. Figured somebody'd use them sometime.

Nice score, Mike! Reminds me of my first big acquisition. I found my bill of sale yesterday while going through my old JP Scout Salvage files, matter of fact. I bought 7 complete Scouts/Terras/Travelers and a rolling chassis plus a ton of spare parts. Oh the memories...
they weren't free, but they were a lot cheaper than what they are now, that's for sure.

Look forward to what else is dragged in.

We've been as high as 13 at one time, in the past. I counted today, and there are 14 here and two at home. New record, baby!:punk::clap:

Congratulations on SCOUTCO becoming a real family operation (two guys and a teddy bear do not count). Now that there will be a charming voice answering the phone - business will continue to grow. Best of luck to a great family.

Thank you, Ray! And it's a stuffed dog, not a Teddy bear...;)
