I'm in Little Rock, AR for the next week. Looking for a cool brush guard (maybe with a winch) for my 76 Traveler... New or used. Got cash and willing to drive a little ways to pick up...

    UP FOR SALE:
DandC extreme X Duty Drag Link-
This drag link has less than 15 K Miles on it. There is a tear in one boot, because I accidentally ripped it when we moved. It was not on the scout, and got caught on the edge of the trailer. THIS IS NOT DAMAGE FROM DRIVING.
Both Ball joints are tight. One Boot is good, one needs to be replaced.
This Draglink is made out of 1.25 DOM tube. The TRE's have a 5/8 shank, and the draglink is threaded. You will notice that I added some additional DOM tube to one side. This was because I was going to use this on my Partsmike Histeer. However, it was one inch too long, so I cut out a section and welded this piece of DOM 1/8 inch wall to it. This will still fit a stock scout, and it will fit a scout with hi-steer (at least partsmike histeer) Comes with Castle nuts, but no cotter pins cuz I lost them in the move.

This Draglink ranges in length of 44" to 40".

I am selling because I don't need this anymore. I decided to go with Heims on my draglink, so I built something different.

New,, these cost 190.00! I am asking 125.00. With a new boot, this draglink would be as good as new!

I have two sets of scout II seats for sale.

    BLUE SET HAS BEEN SOLD!

Both sets are in very good condition.
The brown pair are mid-back out of a 1975 SII. They are in excellent condition with no tears. The bases have no rust. They are as comfortable as scout seats come. I only have pictures of the driver seat. The passenger seat is in storage, but I am going to storage soon, and will post pics of the passenger for any who wants them.

The blue set are out of a terra. They are highback, and in good working order. They are dirty, they have been sitting in the hay barn. The driver seat has a small (dime size) hole. Other than that, these seats are in great shape. The bases on these are also solid. I was going to use these in my scout, but I decided on some seats from Summit, and custom bases. These are no longer needed around here.

Both sets need a good cleaning.

Asking 200.00 per set. You don't find them this nice very often. Without bases, 175.00 per set. Willing to ship, buyer pays for shipping from 72774.

2 x Dana 20's- The first is in good working order, recently had new seals installed, freshly painted and in my scout. Asking $200 OBO
The other Dana 20 came out of the scout with the t-19. Works fine, was covered in grease, but that could be from the SBC that threw a rod though the block. Cleaned up and ready for paint- $150 OBO

pretty nice wood grain dash- $40 OBO

I also have two push bars for a SII. Both are in good condition- $150 Ea OBO Vendors want $275

I am willing to trade. I am currently in the market for a t-19 wide for a SII, good straight Fenders for a 73 D series, or a d series bed, and probably some other stuff too. If its IH related, I could be interested. It never hurts to ask. I'm a nice guy!

I'm flexible on prices, but i'm not giving it away. If they don't sell, they will go in my stock pile.

I can ship all these things, but shipping can be expensive. I am located in West Fork, AR 72774.

I just bought a 77 Scout (my first IH) that's mechanically perfect but is all ate up with rust. Basically needs a whole new tub. I know Scout Madness sells them and that seems to be the cheapest option, but have you guys had any dealings with them or know of any other options? Really appreciate any help you guys can give with this

Welcome! I have not had any dealings with scout madness, but I have some friends who have. I have heard mixed reviews.

You might also try roedel brothers in St Louis. They have always been nice to me, and there prices are competitive. Tubs run about 2500 (plus shipping) for a good one from out west. If you have fab skills (welding sheet metal) you can buy a lot of panels from the vendors.

    Vendors I can personally recommend:
    IH Parts America (california)
    Super Scout Specialists (ohio)
    Roedel Brothers (missouri)
    Anything Scout (Tennesee?)
    Coonrod's (used parts) (Colorado)

All these vendors have websites, except coonrods. but if you search here, you will get his phone number.

I would also recommend staying clear of scoutparts.com. They are just a middle man. They buy their parts from these vendors, jack the prices up, and resell to uneducated buyers.
