It's about time to have a official classifieds thread. Anyone wanting to sell or trade amongst local IHers, here's a thread to do it. This should included, vehicles and parts.

    Sellers/swappers/give away's

Please list the following to make it straight forward for the browsers:
    -Location
    -Price
    -Best way to contact you
    -Good description
    -Pictures

I think this shouldn't be limited to IH only stuff. Just don't pimp to much through here. IE don't make it a garage sell! If you have a car or truck or something big you want get rid of tools etc...

Found this on craigslist Tulsa. I have seen it on there before a few weeks ago. It seems like too good a deal to pass up...:cornfused: and it may be but I thought I would mention it none the less. If I had someone over there to tell me it was worth it I might just snatch it up. However I don't have any spare time right now so... http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/1342105017.html

    1980 Scout II for trade

1980 Scout II with 392, t19, dana 20 and dana 44s 373 gears comes with your choice of steel half cab or full travel top has some rust and usual scout leaks and a clear title I have changed the grill but still have the '80 grill with out the headlights and buckets the motor and transmission and transfer case were swapped in when I got it this Scout was originally a sd33t it rolled off the assembly line in Aug of '80

I am looking for a v8 Scout 800 any shape as long as its an original v8 Scout if yours in not in as good a shape as mine we can work out a deal for cash or parts or something it dont even have to have a title as long as its an original v8 scout, I just want a v8 800 and happen to have an extra good Scout II I would also consider partial trade for a 196 4spd Scout 800 or 6cyl 800

also if wanted I have a brand new never installed 4in lift kit with all hardware including steel braided brakelines and adjustable shackles and new body bushings that Ill throw in for the right Scout or sell with the Scout

    Looking for my first

Through much deliberation I have decided firmly that My life needs a scout in it!!!

Can you help me find my first?

I am learning a lot on the topic and have decided that I would like a mid to late 70's Scout II w/ the 345 V8.

let me know if anything has something availible.

1978 International Scout II, 304 V8, 373's, Dana 44's, 31 x 10.50's in good tread. Automatic transmission. Power steering is fine. Has AC but does not blow cold. Floorboards are in good condition except for one spot on the drivers side just big enough to stick a couple fingers in. This is a solid truck in good shape. It needs some carb work right now but can be towed if need be. I drove it this summer but since the carb problem it has been sitting. Interior and upholstery is in good condition. It has two bucket seats with the fold up back seat. I have pulled the front seats to get rid of the old carpet but haven't got the bedliner sprayed in yet. Email with contact info if interested. Would trade for a 4 stroke enduro dirtbike, a generator, canoes or kayaks, tools, guns, cabinet work or CASH. Open to offers. Thanks.

    Re: Looking for my first

Hey welcome to the MSB, have you checked Ebay, there was a 1980 Scout Terra on there for $600. in Conway I dont know if you have done enough research to find that '80 was the best year for the Scout it had an improved caster front end and most had dana 300 transfer cases

    I e-mailed that guys thanks!

I did see that Terra but I think i would rather have the Scout II, mostly just a visual preferance. I have been trolling e-bay quite a bit but it worries me to be bidding on something 1,000 miles away from someone i don't know from adam... call me cautious but i would rather buy from someone with some reputation, or a scout close enough to drive to and fire up before i fork over my moola.
