Have had the mad ignition in for a while, ran good. Noticed it started to bog down. Under cap shows some melting.
Every box store lists the wrong one.
Looking for a quality brand like Accel, petronix or summit for a new distributor cap and rotor
Any part numbers would be very helpful

    Thank you

Edit: NVM, you have a 4 cylinder. Just go to rock auto, they should list one. Thats the best you will probably get.

I'm not familiar with that term, but from looking at your picture, am wondering if the rotor damage is because the rotor position is far from being near a plug-wire terminal in the cap, so the spark is jumping sideways over the plastic to get there, or perhaps even jumping to ground below.
When rotating in the correct direction and the points are just opening, where is the rotor pointing wrt the terminals?

Is it just an MSD coil? Or do you have some sort of MSD digital box?

You have a Holley distributor. This is info you can provide to the clerk at an Auto Parts store.
    Cap - Standard Motor Products p/n IH443.
    Cap - Airtex/Wells p/n 5D1175
    Rotor - Standard Motor Products p/n IH318
    Rotor - Airtex/Wells p/n 4R1073A

EDIT: You DO NOT have a Delco-Remy distributor.
EDIT: You DO NOT have a Prestolite distributor.
EDIT: You DO NOT have a Mallory distributor (aftermarket).
EDIT: You DO NOT have a Davis DUI distributor (aftermarket).
EDIT: You DO NOT have a Lucas distributor (aftermarket).

Is this the first time it’s happened? I run a box (summit) with a delco distributor and have not had a problem like this. I don’t know what the options are for the Holley cap/rotor but would check Napa.
