Hey Caleb, we should grab a coffee when the dust settles and see who else we can rustle up. I've had my '78 Scout II for almost 20 years. She barely survived the mudslide and now I need to get her through smog... long story. You have any good scout mechanics in town who might help me navigate what I need to bolt to this old girl to get through the visual inspection!? best, Napper Tandy

I'm in Ojai. No Scout, just 1969 1500D.

Patrick, I have a 69' shortbed, 392, 5-speed, 4x4 1100D too! Need to get the brakes right! Starting with swapping out the front right brake cylinder to see if that get's things back to "acceptable". You know of a great IH mechanic around? Need help getting my '78 scout through the visual smog inspection!
