As many of you know Navistar quite suppling lineset tickets as of January 1 after Al Pancake retired.
The lineset tickets are now in the IH-McCormick Archives at the Wisconsin Historical Society. We are slowly coping the 2,200 rolls of microfilm so that the originals can be placed in archival storage in the film vault. The microfilm will be stored in the same place as the United Artists films etc.......The WHS houses the Midwest Center for Film Study which has a majority of the older Hollywood films.
If you need a copy of your line set ticket you can get one from the WHS. The price is $20.
Give one of the work study students a call with your serial number. 1-608-264-6410
You can also request a lineset ticket from Scout Connection or Super Scout.
The turn around on the lineset ticket should be 7 to 10 days instead of the 10 weeks it took Navistar.
If you have any questions send me an email.

This is GREAT NEWS!!! I am so glad to hear the Historical Society has gotten ahold of the information. I am exstatic to hear the information is going to be preserved, as this is such a useful tool. Thank you so much for the effort!

    Great news indeed Mike.

The Line Set Ticket, as Im sure you know, is the "birth certificate" of an IH truck, and as such is an invaluable document to any IH truck owner who is researching his or her truck. To know that the original IHC LST records are in a safe place and that they will be well cared for in the future is wonderful to hear.

Thank you for the contact info and many thanks to you and everyone involved in this momentous project for all the hard work.

I have Stickied this thread at the top of the OEM forum so the info will be easy to find.

    Mike

Re: Line Set Tickets are now available

We only have the lineset tickets from 1950 to 1984.
IH had line set tickets for all of the trucks but the early ones are MIA. Hopefully they will turn up someday.
About 2 years ago Navistar found 6 of the 100 Anniversary reproduction reapers still in the crates so anything can happen.
