HAHAHAHAHA you better let the wife drive again, i dont know if you can handle all that power!

I been upside down in an armored humvee a couple of times, its intense =)

On your 3rd race looks like you ran into some rut resistance. Nice work though Monte, that was bad ***.

It's that time of year again...

This winter I discovered a blown head gasket, my radiator was pressurizing due to a leak around the number 2 cylinder. With that fixed I added a high volume water pump and a new radiator/fan system. The radiator/fan setup was donated by a generous individual in the IH community, thanks Rob.

Here are a few pictures of the new setup, I am just waiting on my new hoses to finalize the project.

Everything is done, there were no issues burping the new system. A final test and tune is planned for this weekend and our first race of 2010 is next weekend. Wish us luck. :punk:

The end of our racing season is approaching, this coming weekend will probably be the last race we run in 2010.

So here is a list of modifications for the 2011 season:
Newer 440 transplant with some mild engine work
    Full manual valve body 727
    3000 stall converter
Beadlocks (16.5's suck, I am constantly putting the tires back on the rim)
Moving the front axle forward 4-6 more inches
Remove a leaf from each spring pack (softer ride and less bounce)

Here a few pics from this years season:

We have been running the stock mopar electronic ignition. I am seriously thinking about going with a petronix in a points distributor and going with a GM alternator when I put the new motor in. MSD ignition would net us more points and bump us up to the next class so I have avoided it.

Monte, Thats just cool. I'm jealous, I so bad want to build a truck that will kick ***. Ether a Baja racer, mud truck or something of that nature. I keep myself so buried in builds and just don't have a chance to get to a racer. I am doing the hand controlled Scout it's out for paint now. Should have it wrapped up by Dec then have two more to do before I can catch my breath.

Looks like you guys are having so much fun, so do you guys enjoy this more than crawling? Glad to see the radiator is working, looks bling back there.

Robert, we still can't thank you enough for the radiator, I get a lot of comments on it.

The hand control Scout is one of the coolest things ever, you are a true ambassador to the IH community. You do some great builds and your crawler is awesome, I wish you could have made it back to Naches with it this year.

Crawling or Mud Racing? Momma likes the mud, so Pink gets priority. When Momma's happy I get to buy parts for my Crawler. :D

The 16.5 Boggers have always been an issue, we can never air down enough. Hopefully the new beadlocks will fix that problem.
