Took Wilma for a spin today with my helper to drop off some supplies with my parents a few miles away (Maintaining correct social distancing for the drop off, of course!)

Barely limped her back home, same symptoms as prior. I think I have fried yet another coil. This is getting absurd. If I get furloughed I REALLY want to redo the wiring.

Any way, here she is in all her roll-bar-less glory.

Got some bar stock in the garage, hope to have that fixed shortly, with a modified CJ bar!

Not too much excitement this weekend, but me and my helper finally fixed the super-annoying passenger door release. The PO had tipped Wilma at some point and caved the passenger side door shell in pretty good. The window barely went up and down, and the inside door handle did not work at all. Today we pounded the dent out a good bit, removed the latch mechanism, bent all the linkages back where they are supposed to be, and put it all back together. Door now opens and closes pretty much as it should, and window goes up and down a LOT better. The lower door hinge pin is a chopped-off nub, so that's now on the list of fix-its. Anyway, exciting to make a little progress and get past a major annoyance.

Woot! Now all I need is some cooler temps outside and a few days off work.
