International 234 diesel 4x4 compact tractor

for sale from a local used tractor place. What can folks tell me about them? Obviously a later "IH" tractor, I'm assuming its some sort of re-badged import. Just wondering if its worth the look/drive.

    Made by Mitsubishi.

The little Mitsu's are good little tractors as long as they are taken care of. Parts are scarce, and I don't know what Case/IH parts support for the IH versions is. Southern Global is the only place I've found that can get parts for the Mitsu's.

They aren't bad tractors ,but they are not an IH or anything close. Kinda like calling a golf cart a Scout. I wanted to buy one when they were new. It took a lot to convince my self to switch to a John Deere (Yanmar) ,but I did and I have never looked back. I can't see buying one and dealing with the parts issues like Will said if it is not a real IH. The front loader looks rather large for that tractor. The front axles on those tractors were a weak point.

thanks, kind of what I suspected.

Jeff you worried about not buying a IH badged mitisibushi tractor but bought a John Deere badged Yanmar?????? Should have bought a Kubota!!! Seriously the Mitisibushi line of compacts were picked up & sold by Cub Cadet. Now Cub Cadet sells rebadged yanmars. Eason Lilley
