33x10s right? Likely be the way I go if i cant afford swampers. BFG km3s seem to be the best in that size.

I got a big ride planned in may, after that ill find a 305sbc to slap into the k10 while i rebuild the 350 then i can start fitting the engine into the 57.

Coker has a nice set of rims 16x7 for $110ea. That should be perfect for either 33x10 or 35x10.5

I like the Dick Cepek tires better than BFG they seem to last longer and have just a little more tread contact patch

I have now gone back to work, and work is good. So my updates may be awhile out. Im also hoping to add a tow rig that will make a good winter daily so i can work on this plenty next off-season.

Ive also found this fella on youtube. Hes got a great build tho his camera work leaves somethinto be desired. Check him out.

I have great news. I will not be bastardizing my 57 with chebby parts. I have aquired both a 96 7.3 and a 71 travelall . I will be using the travelalls d44s and 345 in the 57 and the 7.3 zf d60/10.25 in the 71

1996 has super wide spring spacing. 36.5" I believe. Travelall will be around 31.
1971 is that closed or open knuckle D44?

Might be able to cut off like 4-5 in from the long tube and make it work. It is a Dana 60 and not a 50 correct? They look almost the same.

The d50 was ttb in the 90s. Wasnt the dentside spring spacing 32? Might just use one of those 60s

There were solid axle D50's as well. Looks like they didn't start until 1999 if you trust wiki.

Only 78-79 Ford 60's had the narrow perch width.

Yeah the 99-03 250/350 srw used d50s the drw and 03.5+ used d60s all of them have the wierd metric lug pattern. So it seems a modified 60 will be needed anyway. At least the 57 will be much easier this way
