Hello all, newbie from Ray City, GA. 1969 1100D.
Just wanted to say hello. I have been her eon BP since 2002 or 2003, but have not been active in a while. I live in Cary, NC (Raleigh area) and would love to meet up with the group some time. I have a '79 Scout 2 that I bought on eBay and have slowly worked on over the years. it still looks like crap, but it runs well. I am about to lift it 4" put on steering stabilizers and new 35" inch pro comp tires with Mickey Thompson wheels. That is far and away the most money I have spent on this rig in a long time! I hope it works out.
Say hello if you are in the area.
Looking forward to hearing from some of you.

I'm Spence - a new to Scouts guy from DeLand, FL
We bought a 74 Scout II with this wood body on it last summer.
Always looking for a more weather-proof body!
I remember seeing that Scout for sale somewhere. I bet that thing weighs a lot with all that lumber back there.
Interesting,At least you don`t have to worry about rust
Welcome to the new guys. Hope you can make it to the Winter meet.
Got it from a friend of my son's, it had a grapefruit sized hole in the 232. He had no clue as to the story behind the wood part.
It's actually put together rather well - very solid.
Surprisingly there is no rust in the remaining metal half.
Gotta figure out a roll bar/ top support /seatbelt that mounts to the frame before I take it too far.
Hello, new guy to the Concord NC area, but not new to Scouts. Sent in my Info via email to join, and my bio on the Binder Bulletin section. My names Scottie Bell and i have a 1975 Scout II looking for people to cruise to the Dixie Regionals with. Hope to meet a whole grip of you binder nuts. Have an awesome Day.
Welcome Scottie. There are usually a few different convoys that roll to the Charlotte Autofair. I'm sure you can tag in with one of the groups.
Moved to Wilmington, NC in February. Still learning to speak the language, but the natives are friendly so far since I don't talk like I'm from the northeast.
feels good to find some south eastern binder brothers and sisters, been looking for a while, just one big question....does anyone know where they have Binder friendly shows near and around Chattanooga, TN?????? Id loves to met up with some the more experienced ppl.
Hello all, just joined and hope to make it to the winter meet and greet!!

Welcome to SEBA Andy!! Post some pics of your scout in the SEBA RIDES thread.
I was finally able to join. Yay.... I have learned alot already trolling on here. Hope to get to meet a few of you and learn even more.

I just brought home my second binder, first being a scout II that I shouldnt have bought, but good came from it. After shocking the crud out of Randy, it was given to him and helped other scouts to live on at GRC.
Just brought home the "Dragon Slayer", a 71 800B Comanche. Could use some rust repair love, and work all around, but I think its a solid platform for me to build a street/trail truck and finally enjoy a scout. Have the heads off the 304 to free a piston and get running, and then off to GRC to work on rust repair. Once the time is right, I'll do a spring upgrade and scout II axels, but for now, get it happy and safe for the road and just enjoy it!
Website is back up!
Hey all, north of Wilmington, NC going to pick up my first Scout this weekend from the Asheville, NC area.
