How small of a SR-2 stripe kit can you make? It's pinewood derby time and I think a scout is gonna win it.

You have to post pictures of this when you are done. Mike needs to send you some miniature Scoutco decals as well to be your sponsor.:D

I've done a 1/25th scale '76 Spirit. I'll take some pics if I finish it. And if we get to do the PWD car, pics must be posted, for sure!

I'll take all the tips I can get. I have already accumulated several things from my brothers, but neither has a state, so I'm all ears. I realize that it will take aero to win state, but being the first year, I think will be perfect for a scout. I want them to fear what's coming if you know what i mean!

Derby car, er TRUCK project...part one nearly compete. This decal sheet includes all I can think of for the chunk o' wood, except a grille, headlights, and taillights. I got door handles and locks, emblems (legible, I might add), windows (complete with wipers!), stripes, side markers, gas caps, etc. Can anyone think of anything else I need? My brain hurts from working on stuff this dern small!

That's unbeleivable. the only thing I can think of is front blinker lights, and maybe some fake chrome I can cut out to make some bumpers. You are a wizard at your craft!

Thanks, Mark. I just finished the grille, head/tail/turn lights. I'll do some chrome for ya, too. You've GOT to post pictures of this thing on here. I'm having a ball with this!:punk:

Here's a screenshot of the final design. The orange around the stripes and such comes off here, leaving you with a little orange around the edges to make it big enough that it'll stick good, just like the first pic shows.

The grille looks funky, on the screen, but remember it is only about 3/8" tall. I'll print it out tonight, and get it shipped out to you tomorrow. I really hope it all fits and looks right on there! If it doesn't, rescaling it is no real issue, so let me know and I can redo pieces ASAP and get them headed your way.

Mike, your work was awesome, and though we didn't win the speed category, we did win "most original" mostly because of your creative input.
