My 77 has the Rallye steering wheel, and the horn button no longer works.
I pulled the button apart, and it has this style of switch inside it (which appears to be broken):

I have been unable to find or identify a replacement for this. It looks like Scout Parts has one NOS item for $122, but I a) won't deal with them and b) am unenthusiastic about paying that kind of price tag.

Is there Doorman part, or some other manufacturer that is readily available? Any Chevy\Saginaw crossover parts?

Go to the local parts counter and ask for a late 70s (pick a year) Chevy pickup. Columns are near identical to the GM, share many parts.

In my experience, most of the Chevy\GM pickups use this style of switch:

is this interchangeable? Will the rally wheel horn button work with it?

Well, I dunno then. Mine's a 1980. My 79 was a Rallye also, but I don't remember it being an issue, or what it looked like. My 1980 looks like the picture you provided. I think there's a type break at 1977. If you can wait, IH Parts America would most likely have the part your looking for. Or any of the other Light Line dealers.

I would think it's interchangeable. If not directly, if your handy, then it would probably work with a bit of mods. Can't say for sure. I'd buy one and try it out from a local parts house.

I super glued mine and it works fine. I think IH Parts has them.
