I need some help with this. My scout has a 345/727 and I believe a Dana 20.

I am guessing my T-case is older then some of the ones I see on here because my fill hole is up near the exhaust rather than on the fronton the case like I usually see posted. Or maybe it's not a D20?

Anyway, The problem I am having is there is a threaded hole that is leaking fluid. I do not know what is supposed to be in this hole. I apologize for the pictures, it has been a pain in the butt to get a good shot while under my Scout.
The hole I am talking about is to the left of the speedo cable and has a fresh stain of fluid leaking down from it

If it's a Dana 20 (can't tell from the pic), it will have a breather threaded into it near opposite of the Speedo cable on the rear bearing cap. Could be that leaking if the bearing cap gasket is shot.

Also check the drain plug and the filler plug...

Thanks rdavisabc, I have the breather and the drain plug and fill plug present. I will try and get some better pictures of the whole t-case.

The side fill plug location does indicate an older D20 to me. Your output yoke seal is leaking too.

Looks to me that you're missing this bolt:

Scoutboy74. Yes I saw the fluid leaking out of the output yoke seal. My T-case will be getting replaced soon do to a crack on the mounting flange anyway so I am ignoring that leak for now. The missing bolt concerns me more at this point because I do not know at what rate I will lose fluid out of this opening.

rdavisabc. Yes, that's it! thank you. I am going to try to figure out the thread pitch today when I get home from work.
