I've got an old IH tach that stopped working. I snagged it out of an old R-series wrecker in a junkyard when I was a kid, but it looks like could have been used for the L-series as well. The internal tach unit has rusted to the point that there is a break in between the needle shaft and the input drive. Anyone have another one or, even better, a spare Stewart Warner internal tach unit that works? I believe any 4000rpm tach unit from the K-series to the R-series would work. This is what the gauge face looks like.. 416363TachFace.JPG

    Thanks!

I know you'll find this hard to believe, but I think I have one in the shop somewhere. I'll have to look for it.

tach2.jpg Mine is different. Was out of an L series I know for sure. I only have one gauge with that style of face and now I don't remember if it was a vacuum gauge or air pressure. tach2.jpg

I'd be interested if it turns out to be a vacuum gauge.
