Somewhere with no curfew so people can talk past 10 pm. I didnt realize or forgot about how bad that rule was at tuthil.
Have been having thoughts of a different venue/idea - a seperate show and shine swapmeet type event and then a camping/wheeling event .

Apparently we need to go somewhere even cooler. Alaska IH Rendezvous?

After the holidays, thoughts turn to AZIHR!
Ft Tuthill was great except for the restrictions and unseasonably warm weather. Maybe have to consider ponying up the bucks to go back to Prescott.

Even though I'm not a member, I vote for Prescott also. You would have at least one more entry at the show (its close enough for me to push my scout to )

What about the Potato Patch campground. Went there with the cub scouts, they had a reserved area, big fire pit, restrooms, water.

Potato Patch looks like a great location! However, my experience with USDA campgrounds is that they are just as restrictive as Ft. Tuthill. You are required to park only on designated areas within the campground. "Quiet time" rules are in effect. OHV use prohibited in the campground (i.e. no truck games). Dogs must be leashed.
    etc., etc.

So we have confirmed that Rendezvous will be at Fort Tuthill again this year, June 2-4. We have more accommodations, a more streamlined registration process, and are hoping for slightly cooler weather!

Registration opens Feb 1st, so keep an eye out for details!

If I were to show up to this event - non member - on a family vacation is there anyone out there with some extra seats for one of the trail rides?

I am sure we could accommodate you! And admission is free if you're just visiting to check out the trucks. So we hope to see you there!
