Is there any interest in getting a the ODBA members together for a dinner? Maybe early in Febuary or March. It's probably too cold for a wrench fest, so I figured since the ODBA is pretty dormant and we don't do much as a club that maybe we could use this to pump some life into it. I'm thinking here in Richmond on a Saturday evening or a Sunday. If we get any interest then I can plan it and will get opinions on what types of food and venues. Any thoughts or comments are welcome.

    If the date works...yeah.

Obviously, the location is real convenient, as long as you are YOU!:tt2:

Well it does work for me, however I figured it would be a central location for everyone. I understand that for some it would be I convent for some, but I'm open to suggestions.

    I'm in.

Mike--we can convoy down 64. One of our Scouts might make it to RVA without imploding. :scout:

Is the ODBA active? I was going to join Souther Scouts, but I'd rather do Old Dominion...

That's what we are trying to figure out. All clubs go through some attrition of some sorts. You can join as many as you like. I belong to SEBA as well. Just got back from their winter meet and greet. I would just love to get the ODBA going again. Mike Moore is a busy guy and someone else needs to step up and try to awaken the Scouts in Virginia.

I wish it wasn't such a haul. I'd love to make it down and meet the Virginia folks; if I came it would be in a non-IH vehicle due to the amount of salt on the roads.

Mine is already loaded with salt. I could take a couple before or after the spring wash down. Of course the "Softride" suspension isn't so comfy.

Say when. Say where. I'll try hard to make it happen. I can stop and pick you up, Ty.

What about Saturday March 15th? Does that date work? I'm flexible. There are a couple of dates in Febuary that I can't do but March is wide open.

I'll try to make it whatever date you guys choose, Scout or not is dependent on many factors though...

Ok, I haven't heard from anyone on the date. Should I run with March 15th?

I might be able to make the 15th... I've actually got another meeting in Richmond on the 16th too, but nothing on the 15th yet...

I think I can make that happen.
Certainly more likely if it's here in RVA.

Very cool. So what does everybody like to eat. With such a small group we can go anywhere. If anyone has any suggestions at all, let me hear'em. I'm open for anything. I know mike likes Mexican so....
