If any of you keep an eye on craigslist here is a much better way to search it.

    http://www.searchtempest.com/

You can actually enter a specific zip code and search within X amount of miles from it. Consequently you can search multiple cities at once.

    Very handy stuff!

Or, enter the following as a Google search:

    international scout site:craigslist.org

This returns results from all CL listings nationwide at once.

Change "international scout" to whatever you want to search for. The "site:craigslist.org" parameter just returns results from the CL site.

    Another one is crazedlist

There are a few others as well, but I use the above the most often if I'm checking multiple areas.

I use hankshelper.com. It searches ebay, cl, autotrader, cars, and oodle I think. Works very well.

I usually use crazedlist. Its really great for Firefox, but takes too much configuration BS to use it with IE.

    Another one is http://www.craigzoom.com/

x2 on searchtempest. I'm a big fan for the simple fact that it will load search results for lots of cities in a simple format inside the same page.

On the searchtempest, does it constantly search for new post on CL and can it be sent to your google reader?

There is also a service called yahoo pipes. Another binder guy uses it for craigslist. Seems to useful.
