    nice job! i'm in the middle of restoring a SSII also (although a bit more rust repair needed) and will be thrilled if it looks anything like yours when done. The fire orange was a great color choice. Mine is terracotta but after seeing this i think i'll go with the fire orange. Did you use Dupont paint? And if so, do you have a code? thanks.

    I tried so hard to buy it but as an Airman 1st class in the Air Force at the time I didn't have quite enough $. Ended up buying my F-250 diesel instead.

    Dan - that's it! I think it took me about 10 minutes to remove that hideous front bumper and the "Sand Piper" lettering on the back!
