I bought my scout II fall of 2013. I've had my 345 motor rebuilt, done Feb 2014. It has ran pretty smoothly up until a couple of months ago when it started to get real cold. It has had a slight miss around 1500 - 1800 rpm's ever since I dropped the motor back in. It's been deiseling off and on when I shut the truck off for about a month. I just rechecked the timing this weekend 32° ; 8tdc. It's deIseling every time I shut it off now. What am I missing or what do I need to do? Also what's a good way to tell if your carburetor needs to be replaced or just rebuilt? The carburetor is a 2bbl Holley and I don't know how old it is or when the last time it was rebuilt. I'm a first time IH owner so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
