20200213_154036.jpg First photo is how she looked when I got her

Planning to spray all my jams soon, raptor line the undercarriage, by then itll be plenty too hot to spray anything in my garage so I'll be shortening my dodge frame and working on getting the cab onto it.

Few "mods" I've done are two 1 1/4" holesaw holes in each doors topside rocker panel, might fill rockers with grease.. also cut some large areas out of those cowl 'side bubbles' for some air filters and to clean the rust out of em... also sealed off those side bubbles from the cowl louvers, the louvers will feed fresh air to my turbo... hopefully will help with MPGs ontop of performance.

She had her fair share of booboos, but yes overall she was in decent shape.. worth saving for sure.

Thanks man, yeah she's pretty straight, I did a fair share of filler work, I knew it wouldn't get straight enough for paint with my 2 hands so I'm going to raptor line this baby top to bottom, inside & out.

The primer looks like trash, Corotech V150 is what I used.. stuff is thicker than glue and being my first job I was afraid to reduce it enough... that's reduced 20%, sprayed 40 psi through a 2.5mm tip, still came out looking like rattle can, and when I did the doors I sprayed the inside when that flashed off I flipped em thinking I was being smart... well couldn't get to some spots so had to turn them upside down panel to the wall for round 3 and ended up getting the excess paint from the plastic on my walls all over the doorskins.. nothing a little sandpaper wont fix! I wont be updating this as frequent or detailed as most of you guys but I'll definitely keep it updated!

Thanks man, they're not too bad, you can notice on the pass. side battery tray theres a small rust hole and some large pitts.. not worried about not even going to waste time filling the pitts.. I know alot of purists wont like it but that's the beauty of me raptor lining this thing, alot less work for me.

Sent a few items to get chromed back in January (guy is extremely busy) ofcourse I decided to raptor line my Travelall AFTER.. kind of wish I didnt spend the coin for the chrome but whatever..

I did some electrical work for this guy awhile back so said hed give me a deal... was about $150 before tax for 4 taillight bezels and the center tailgate lock medallion... did I get a deal? Also I've got a broken "Tra-velall" emblem.. says he can probably fix it with pot metal stick weld and rechrome for $40 bux.. what do you guys think, attempt to repair it or buy 20200505_150409.jpg a NOS emblem?

Hahah it's been a looooong start let me tell you, but ball is rolling now and now the agonizing stuff is out of the way I'll start documenting a little more. I was almost planning to just post some photos start to finish once it was all done but wheres the fun in that!?

Okay was hoping it wasn't the guy in AZ because I might need it! Haha but I'm probably going to give Chuck at my local chrome shop a chance for $40 definitely would atleast like all the shiny stuff back there too match.
