Found a leak! The coolant bypass hose has a pinhole. Can I replace this hose without taking the housing and water neck off? Thanks!

Not too tough with a new hose. Napa should have it. Get a high quality hose, Gates, etc.

I have NOS. Trim to fit. Not a real nice time doing it without removing the T-stat housing.

I dont doubt that. An NOS hose would be at least 35 years old, I cant imagine it to be very supple.

Right on, Napa down the street from me shows they have it, online anyway. I'll try to get it tomorrow.

Napa had the hose and it took a little bending and squishing to get it on, but not bad. On to the next issue!! Thanks for the help!!

Yes but it is a pain in the arse.. clean the necks well & use wd-40 to aid install...don't forget to put clamps on very loose when fighting the hose over necks as you may not get it off again without destroying it & you may have to trim it to fit without a kink. All mine always needed some trimming & love to go on.:sweatdrop: 20180318_153703.jpg
