If I wanted to install a 32/36 Weber carb on my 152, what all is needed parts-wise? Is it a direct bolt on or does it require an adapter? Will the stock throttle linkage work or do I need a longer one? Is there a particular Weber I should look for? I see them for Cheeps, Samurai's, Land Cruisers, etc.. Which one fits the Scout best or does it matter?

Go and look at my buildup listed below - it has all of the info on getting a new carb and kit. It also talks about the cable.

If you need more info than that - or you would like to get a used one out of a junkyard go to Just internationals and look for a thread on this topic from Travis - it has all the info you will need.
