Looks good. Is it a legit SSII. Upside down vin tag on the pass side kick panel?

Yeah Vin plate is on kick panel. Button snaps on dash. Shield over fuel tank that weighs a ton.

    Awesome. Welcome to the club.

Going to take it back to a real SSII? As it looks right now it's bogus lol.

Wish mine was that decent when I wasted $6k on it.

Nice on the wide ratio. Mines a 345 4 speed wide. Should be very similar. Curious if the Line Set ticket shows whether it was purchased with a soft top and soft doors or not.

I am not sure why you were not able to register on the site the first time. Please try again. I went on from my laptop and phone this morning and was able to register both ways.
Really neat to have the window sticker with it! So far, I haven't seen the trac lock rear end option on many SSII's line set tickets that have come my way. Interesting choice of options. Pretty cool it went to GA as well. I am a GA boy, relocated to NC.

BTW, that's a 1977 Scout... GGD prefix is 1977. Probably built in the very last days of may or June 1-ish 1977 as a 1977 model. Nice to see the Monroney (Window Sticker) that is a rare find. Hopefully, you are ordering the LST. I am curious if it's got a Gold Star Code. It's got the equipment to be a Brush Buster special. In case you didn't know, the Gold Star Codes were a quick-ordering system where a package was listed with a one-number ordering code. If it is a Bush Buster, it will have the Gold Star code of 7-SCSS-44-112 and it can be found near the bottom of the LST. Item by item, the equipment list matches the Brush Buster. The original engine number for that rig should be 0262424.

That accessories book is cool, but a LOT more common than having the original Monroney.

What is the component code for the axle (140XX)? They didn't always say "Trac-Lok" on the listing but the codes in that era were 14018 (open diff 44) or 14028 (limited slip 44). The part numbers are always tough because they changed often. Those were factory part numbers and not the same as those used in the parts books

1402896558 and there is also some handwritten note i cannot decipher written next to 22911 GR3.54 axle asm...optional gear ratios is directly underneath and lists 149019651....

the first five in the number are 14028, which is the code for a Dana 44 with Trac-Lok. The Gold Star Code 7-SCSS-44-116 is for a Baja Cruiser, which was the most decked out factory version of the SSII, outdone only by the Midas SSII.

Trac loc could show up a RA28 on your LST. But it’s not always printed. Code 14028 would be you next step in verifying it to be a Trac loc transaxle.
14028 would be in the first column of numbers.
    Yours should be a R-28
Code 14018 was for the non locking rear axle.
