By some act of freak nature I was able to end back up with this beast! After selling it the first time, I have seriously regretted getting rid of it. I dont usually get sellers remorse too often but Ive always wanted this thing back. Well by some freak accident I just happen to see it on Facebook for sale by someone other than who I sold it to. Anyway, a couple phone calls later and a trade was struck.

Ive spent most my Christmas vacation working on it and getting it into daily driver form. It still has the healthy 392/T98 and I did a full tune up with pertronix and a new edelbrock 1404 carb.

Im ordering a line set for it today to clarify the axles it has, because I have yet to see another C1300 with the same rear axles mine has. Its flippin huge. My best guess is a RA25 or RA30. The front should be the FA 25? i think or better known as dana 70. It has 4:88 gears but it has a Warn OD that makes it a absolute blast to drive.

Im in the market for a set of the military 37" radials if anyone has some for good price or better yet for trade. I think it would look even better and perform better gear wise with the 37's or 36's. Im kinda stuck with the big 6 lug power wagon pattern unless I get around to making me a set of 16"s. Then I would have a better selection of tires.

I will be installing a 15K winch and basic recovery supplies, so stay tuned for possible future updates.

Im just glad I got the beast back. This truck is truly a definition of IH heavy dutyness.

So are you going to hang on to this truck or will it be up for sale at some time?
